FAQ:
Q: Is it a competition?
A: Yes and no. The competition is not you vs someone else. It’s YOU vs YOU. If it’s your first time, the goal is simply to establish your base timeline. If you have previously done triathlon or any kind of Ironman/Ironwoman, then the goal is to try to make better effort to update your last time! The goal is simple: become better than yesterday.
Q: I am not in Dushanbe, can I join remotely?
A: Yes! For as long as you record your activities (based on what you indicated in your registration form) on December 8, 2024!
Q: I cannot swim. Can I still participate?
A: Yes! You can choose cycling+running.
Q: Can I do my activities indoors only?
A: Yes! All activities can be done in any gym with a swimming pool. Our main goal is to try out Ironman/Ironwoman for ourselves so we can inspire more people to be fit by mixing various kinds of sports.
Q: What are distances?
A: You are free to choose whichever version of Ironman/Ironwoman Triathlon distance. Just be sure to indicate your choice in the registration form:

Q: How do I fix my time?
A: Just use Strava app or your sports-watch (Garmin, Polar, Coros, Apple Watch or any other brand) and record each activity separately.
Q: How my time is calculated?
A: Your total time is calculated based on the sum of all your activities (excluding breaks). Be sure break time between each activity is no longer than 1 hour. As we gain more experience we will count break-times (like in official races) in the future. For now, only your active time is calculated.
Q: Can I reverse the order of the activities?
A: Yes you may, but preferably try to keep same structure (running being the last activity).
Q: I completed registration form. How do I know if I am enrolled?
A: You will be added to a special Telegram group for Ironman Tajikistan. This group is designed for communication and timely updates for all participants.
